Tending the Wild is a 3 hour exploration of how we can engage with the plant world around us to enter a deeper understanding of wholeness, health, and connection.
Join Herbalist & Modern-Day Medicine Women, Caity Flanagan, for an afternoon of exploration into the world of seasonal herbalism and earth-based practices. Through both the science and ceremony of herbal medicine practices participants will learn about how to work with local and season plants to heal emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We will engage with 6 healing plants, exploring them through the senses and learn how to create simple and powerful practices for integrating plant medicine into our everyday experience. To integrate and digest all that we have learned we will end our class with a shamanic plant journey and personal ceremony to carry this medicine with us long after our class has ended.
This journey is created with the intention of introducing folks to the plant world for a deeper sense of connection to the wild within us and all around us.
This class is open to folks of all backgrounds, from the curious beginner to the seasoned herbalist. No prior experience with herbalism or plant medicine needed - simply come with an open heart & mind!
